Emily tagged me (well, she tagged anyone who wanted to be tagged, and since it's hard to think of things to write about, I took her up on it!) for another meme....
What were you doing ten years ago?
1. Teaching first grade in Greenwich, CT. It was my second year of teaching. Man, was that already ten years ago??? I'm
old!
2. Living in a mansion in Greenwich with a family from school--anyone who doesn't know that whole story should ask me about it sometime. It was quite an experience!
3. One semester away from finishing my master's degree program.
4. Babysitting, housesitting, and pet sitting for anyone who would pay me (yes, I lived in a mansion, but I made very little money, lived in the richest community in America, and was paying for grad school!)
5. Visiting friends in NYC (only a 40 minute train ride) whenever I could get down there--that's what I miss most about living out there.
What were you doing one year ago?
1. Celebrating the fact that I'd helped my daughter make it through seven months of life!
2. Still waking up a couple of times a night to feed her.
3. Wondering whether my house would ever be clean again (I still wonder that, come to think of it....)
4. Getting excited about celebrating our baby's first Christmas.
5. Tutoring a 6th grade boy in math once a week. (I wonder how he's doing!?)
Five snacks you enjoy
1. Ice cream (esp Graeter's Strawberry Chip)
2. Cape Cod potato chips, or the cheaper Meijer brand knock offs, which are almost as good
3. Nachos with lots of melted cheese, and sour cream, guacamole, and homemade salsa on the side
4. Frito Lay's "Muchies" mix--it has pretzels, doritos, cheetos, and sun chips in it--super healthy, eh?!
5. Milk Chocolate...in just about any form
Gosh, this is making me WAY too hungry!
Five Songs you know the lyrics to (uh oh, this will be embarassing....)
1. My Favorite Things (from The Sound of Music)
2. Castle on a Cloud (from Les Miserables)
3. Do Re Mi (also from TSOM...see #1)
4. We are the Dinosaurs (by Laurie Berkner....a kid's CD we listen to in the car constantly!)
5. It's a Hard Knock Life (from Annie)
(Can you tell I watched a few musicals growing up??)
Five things you would do if you were a millionaire
1. Give a lot away
2. Build my parents their dream house nearby
3. Build
our dream house also nearby
4. Build myself a scrapbooking room in my dream house so I'd have room to spread everything out and leave it out when I wasn't working on it.
5. Travel with my husband (and eventually our daughter)
Five bad habits (I confessed a couple of these a few weeks ago the last time I was tagged!)
1. Being on the computer too much
2. Checking my email too much
3. Watching TV every evening
4. Eating the snacks listed above
5. Deciding not to exercise on any given day with a lame excuse of why
Five things you like to do

Five things you will never wear again
1. Legwarmers

4. Overalls
5. Heels (not that I ever wore them much, but since my husband's the same height as me, I won't wear heels to make myself taller!)
Five favorite toys
1. My laptop
2. My laptop

4. Did I mention my laptop?
5. Does my daughter's Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Home count? I play with it every day...

1. Play with my daughter's Fisher Price Laugh and learn Home every day (just kidding....it's my favorite of all of her toys that we play with)
